Delete your data

Support messages

Send your request from the email address you used to contact us and describe what you want deleted. Do not include passwords or access tokens. We may ask for enough information to verify the request.

We will delete the personal information we hold in response to a verified request, unless we need to retain it to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. We will explain any exception and respond as required by applicable law. If you disagree with our response, reply to request a review.

Data in the app

Formbox holds no server copy of your inquiries or follow-up work. You control the app’s local records and any files you export:

  • Sign out to disconnect Google and hide the account’s records. Its saved files remain on this device so you can return to them; signing out is not deletion.
  • Delete your account from Account → Your data → Delete account and data. It permanently removes every connected form, manual inquiry, status, note and reminder the app stores for that Google account on this device, and revokes Formbox’s access to your Google account. If the device is offline, the local data is still deleted and the app tells you to revoke access from Google’s page below. Export any records you need first; we hold no copy to restore.
  • Delete a manual inquiry from its detail screen to remove that inquiry and its workflow. To remove all of the app’s local records for all accounts, delete the app. Export any records you need first; we hold no copy to restore. Clear reminders you no longer want from their inquiry details.
  • Revoke access from your Google account's third-party connections page. Formbox loses access immediately, whether or not the app is still installed.

Remove exported files and any backups you saved separately if you want those copies deleted too. Restoring a purchase restores tool access, not deleted inquiries. The “See how it works” example inbox uses invented, in-memory inquiries; closing it discards your example edits.

Your Google Forms

Deleting data from Formbox does not delete anything from Google. Your form and its responses stay in your own Google account, and you delete them there. To delete answers you submitted to someone else's Google Form, contact that form's owner.
